Wowwwww. what a day!

So Friday I did my first fitting with my shadow model! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the process, but I do have a picture of beginnings of the wire cage. I discovered that my previous method of attaching the wires to the cage was breaking it, so in addition to wrapping the wires around the base, I'm adding a little bit of hot glue to hold it in place. I ran out of hot glue though, so I have to go buy some more, so for now, that part is on hold.


Now for the second, probably more exciting part. I did the first dress rehearsal with my sun model! So far, I'm loving the outfit, but there are going to be some alterations. I'm adding fishnets decorated with flowers to add more complexity to look, especially since my other looks are much more complex than hers. In addition, I practiced doing the make up look and I think it turned out great! The blending on one of the eyes got messed up because of a little incident with eyelash glue, but other than that I like the look a lot, and I think it'll work well. The little gold flower below her eye is going to get replaced with actual gems, I just haven't ordered them yet so I couldn't use them.



That's about it for this update! This week I'm going to start putting together the articles and other parts of the magazine that don't require the main photoshoot while I wait for all of the things I ordered to come in.
