Getting More Comfortable With Chatting

Oof

Okay, I'm trying something new. I'm gonna try just talking and using this blog as my diary. Radical I know?

Anyways, onto today and everything that happened

I finally set a schedule! I think one of the biggest personal issues I have is not being able to function if I don't have a perfect schedule in front of me, which leads to me just not doing the project altogether. Its a huge part of why I don't do as well as I can on school projects and work and I really want to fix that part of myself so I can create better projects. So I did! I created a time table (pictured below) of the weeks I have to work on the project and what I want to do. Yes its a little bare, but its already given me what I need to be able to focus properly on my project

I think one of the biggest things that's going to help me stay on track is the physical draft I'm going to build of my magazine. I'm going to buy a bunch of different magazines and cut together a physical draft of what I want my magazine to look like so I can have that as inspiration as I'm constructing my magazine.

Another great part of my magazine is the name! In a previous project, my partner, Guz Lanz and I came up with a fake name for our company, GLIM. We decided to use the same name for our
magazine so, introducing GLIM magazine! We're going to leave the rest of the "world-building" to the last two weeks of the project and for now, only focus on our work and the photo shoot, which I'm happy about because I'm literally going nuts thinking about the work I have left to do.

Weekly Pretty Picture <3
Anndddd the last of the great news, I've figured out what I want the article to be! Background, I decided on doing a double photo page spread in addition to the double page article and more background, I'm a poet! Or at least attempting to be a poet. So, I've decided for my article to do a philosophical piece on our relationship with the earth and an explanation of the photoshoot (as my photoshoot is nature themed), interspersed with poetry with nature themes.

That's all I really have to talk about right now, buttttt I will be uploading another post talking about a team meeting I had today, so be on the lookout for that.

Signing off now
-Isa!
